About the Role

As an Aircraft Cleaner, you'll play a vital role in ensuring aircraft are cleaned, stocked, and ready for operation. Working as part of a dedicated team, you will help maintain the high standards expected within a secure and professional aviation environment.

Key Duties

  • Clean aircraft cabins, galleys, lavatories, and crew areas

  • Vacuum, sanitise, and wipe down aircraft interiors

  • Remove and dispose of waste safely and correctly

  • Replenish onboard supplies and consumables

  • Restock cleaning equipment and vehicles

  • Carry out exterior aircraft cleaning when required

  • Follow all health, safety, security, and PPE procedures

  • Work efficiently to meet operational schedules and service standards

What We're Looking For

  • Full UK manual driving licence

  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and bank holidays

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Reliable, hardworking, and able to work to tight deadlines

  • Good communication and teamwork skills

  • Previous aircraft cleaning experience is desirable but not essential

  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Security Clearance Requirements

As this position is based at a military aviation site, successful applicants will be required to complete an enhanced vetting process to obtain and maintain site access and an airside pass.

This process includes:

  • DBS check

  • Aviation security screening

  • Full 5-year checkable employment and address history

  • Additional security checks required for access to military facilities

Employment is subject to the successful completion of all required security clearances and the granting of the necessary site access permissions.
